New look for BBCi

The long-awaited new look to BBCi has been launched on Freeview. The "i-bar", which launched on the same day most of the ONdigital subscription channels closed, has been replaced by the "bridge", a new menu which shows different content depending on what programme you're watching:

New CBeebies games have been launched:









DAB-style text information is now available on the BBC radio channels (except BBC World Service). The BBC 6 Music MHEG layer shows information about the track currently playing, but the other radio stations only show general information about the current programme:












The BBC News Multiscreen service launched using channel 703, but due to teething problems on a wide range of receivers it has since been withdrawn. The service is expected to start again on October 20. Tests for the news screens have been running for the past few weeks (viewable from BBC Parliament on some boxes):
